AB540 & Undocumented Student Center
The AB540 & Undocumented Student Center aims to empower students to attain their educational goals, overcome legal and financial obstacles, and achieve their long-term dreams. The center strives to educate and build awareness of changing policies affecting California’s undocumented population, acknowledging that immigration is one aspect of an individual’s identity that does not solely define a person or their capacity. They promote a holistic approach to recruitment and retention of students in higher education, taking into account a student’s mental, emotional, and financial well-being. Activities and Recreation Center (ARC)
The Activities and Recreation Center (ARC) offers both informal and formal recreation opportunities, making it easy to keep fit, relax, have fun and meet personal fitness goals. Center of Advocacy, Resources and Education (CARE)
The Center for Advocacy, Resources and Education, formally known as Campus Violence Prevention Program (CVPP), is dedicated to reducing the incidence of sexual violence, including sexual assault, sexual harassment, domestic/dating violence, and staking in the campus community. CARE provides a wide variety of programs and services designed to reduce trauma and to inform the University community about the resources available for addressing sexual assault, domestic/dating violence, staking and their aftermath. Center for African Diaspora Student Success
The Center for African Diaspora Student Success is a space for African and African American students to engage together in all aspects of life on campus. Center for Leadership Learning (CLL)
The Center for Leadership Learning aims to educate and cultivate the next generation of leaders who have a strong sense of self-awareness, have the ability to work effectively with others, and who are civically and socially engaged. The Center for Leadership Learning strives to meet its mission through a variety of curricular and co-curricular programs which are open to every undergraduate student. Craft Center
The Craft Center offers more than 90 classes each quarter, ranging from one-day workshops to seven-week courses. Their classes are small, providing lots of hands-on experience, one-on-one attention, and a comfortable, encouraging atmosphere in which you can explore and develop creative skills. After developing a skill, you may use their facilities on your own time with day-use or quarter-use passes. Cross Cultural Center (CCC)
Born out of student activism and political struggle, the Cross Cultural Center provides a culturally relevant community space where student voices can be expressed and respected. The CCC cultivates critical consciousness and cultural competency by providing learning opportunities at the crossroads of the many aspects of our identity and experiences. Education Opportunity Program (EOP)
The Education Opportunity Program offers an array of services to help students adapt both academically and socially to the university setting and achieve their educational and personal goals. The transition from high school or community college to a large research university can be overwhelming. EOP fosters a caring and supportive environment where students can meet with peer and staff advisers and network with other students. Staff advisors and peer advising counselors (PACs), in conjunction with other campus units, work together to offer students the summer bridge program (STEP), academic advising, tutoring and supplemental instruction, personal and social support, information and skill development workshops, and Guardian Scholars, a support network for former foster youth. Harassment & Discrimination Assistance and Prevention Program (HDAPP)
The Harassment and Discrimination Assistance and Prevention Program at UC Davis supports the University’s commitment to a discrimination-free work and learning environment by education the campus community about the issues concerning harassment and discrimination; assisting individuals and campus units to resolve conflicts and complaints related to harassment, discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual violence, and hate and bias; and serving as the serving as the central office for receiving reports and maintaining records of complaints regarding harassment and discrimination. LGBTQIA Resource Center (LGBTQIARC)
The purpose and goal of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual Resource Center is to provide open and inclusive space and community that is committed to challenging sexism, cis-sexism, genderism, homophobia, biphobia, transphobia and heterosexism. The LGBTQIARC promotes education about all sexes, genders and sexualities, as well as space for self-exploration of these identities. The Memorial Union is a central hub of student life. Native American Academic Student Success Center (NAASSC)
The Native American Academic Student Success Center (NAASSC) is focused on creating a sense of belonging for Native American students in a culturally appropriate way. The center offers many resources to enhance your academic success, learn about culturally relevant activities, and create a support network with other students who identify as Native American. Peter J. Shields Library
The Shields Library has many resources (e.g. books, journals, databases, music, maps, and photos) to help add depth and breadth to what you learn in the classroom, earn higher grades, and become active lifelong learners at UC Davis. Service for International Students and Scholars (SISS)
Services for International Students and Scholars assists incoming international students and scholars, and their families with visa and immigration issues while they are at UC Davis. In addition to preparing the necessary documents to apply for a U.C. visa, SISS assists international students and scholars in maintaining their legal status while in the United States. SISS also provides orientation, assistance, information, and referral to international students, faculty, and researchers regarding financial, personal, cultural, and academic concerns. Student Academic Success Center (SASC)
The Student Academic Success Center is a large, multi-program Student Affairs department providing essential services, programs, and information for UC Davis. Programs and services offered include academic support services, the Education Opportunity Program (EOP), Reentry and Transfer Student Services, Veterans Affairs (VA), etc. Tutoring is offered for chemistry, biology, math, statistics, physics, writing and ESL. SASC helps students thrive by providing academic, personal, social, and transitional support. Student Health and Wellness Center and North Hall
Student Health and Wellness Center and North Hall provides a wide variety of medical, mental health and wellness services to all registered UC Davis students regardless of insurance coverage. Their mission is to enhance the physical and mental health of students in order to help them achieve academic success, personal development and lifelong wellness by providing an integrated program of quality, accessible, cost sensitive and confidential healthcare services, tailored to their unique and diverse needs and to assist the University community, through consultation and education. Student Recruitment and Retention Center (SRRC)
The Student Recruitment and Retention Center stands for educational equity. Their student-run and student-initiated programs foster holistic academic and personal development while raising political and cultural awareness thus empowering students to act as dynamic leaders for their communities. The SRRC family is a group of diverse students who come to serve their communities, as well as dedicate themselves to journeying together toward collective holistic empowerment. The Pantry
The Pantry is a student run organization that can provide up to three meals or personal items per day for UC Davis students who show a UC Davis ID card. The Pantry was established to help offset financial burdens of students and to ensure that students may continue to successfully complete and obtain their degrees. Transfer and Reentry Center (TRC) and Veterans Success Center (VSC)
The Transfer and Reentry Center and Veterans Success Center assists all transfer students, veteran and dependents-of-veteran students, and reentry students. Women's Resources and Research Center (WRRC)
The Women’s Resources and Research Center provides a place for students to learn about resources and educational programs that focus on gender equity and social justice. It is a great place to meet friends and get involved with on-campus events and student organizations working to address sexism, genderism, and oppression. The WRRC provides opportunities for students to take part in making UC Davis safer and more inclusive for everyone, specifically women, transgender, and gender expansive individuals.
